servers not "ranked" + vac-ban not update

Postby Enemy1 » Sat Jul 19, 2008 10:11 am

I having some servers behind a firewall, its 3 gameservers and one webbserver, and I got 4 servers that is connecting to my webbserver and sending loggs to my hlstatsx installation on my webbserver.
They are showing correct and everything is nice, but its a few things thats not working as it should.

The server "outside" is being "ranked" i hlsw, but not thouse behind the firewall ? - is it any port that need to be directed or something ??

For a while now then "syncronize statistics" the VAC-banned isnt updating ? - is it just Toby turned this off ?? or ??

the hlstats.pl process will try to connect into your server ip:port (UDP) to do rcons to find out how many people are on, etc. I'm not certain if it HAS to be able to login or not for stats to count, I really can't remember :) It might need to since it requires a certain number of players to be on for points to count.

The global bans I think tobi turned off.

Thanks for the reply !

It is some sort of "bug" with the advanced settings, and I have reported that a year ago - after the 1.2 relese, and he should look into it .. what that is worth ..
It might be connected to that setting ...

I know this is a pretty old post, but I thought I'd revive it briefly to share this. Its an outdated list of the VAC/SB's that we used to be fed from the master server. Someone could probably put this to good use by setting up a new global ban server.
